Here is the latest information from Laurie Murphy, Project Manager as of 8/27/19. "The West Neck Road Phase IV project will include two 12 foot lanes with 4 foot shoulders on each side. Drainage will be handled by a grass swale parallel to each side of the roadway. Also included is an 8 foot wide asphalt path from the connection south of North Landing Rd to Signature Dr, on the west side, and to the connection with the path at the northern limits of Eagles Nest on the east side. There will be street lighting and landscaping included in the project. The will be no signal at Signature Dr as it is not warranted. The project is currently at the 90% design stage and we are anticipating that utilities will be located from Oct. 2020 through April 2021. Then roadway construction can start and will take one year, followed by street light installation and landscaping."

The latest schedule of completion dates from Laurie Murphy as of 6/26/20 is as follows:
Design April 2021, Acquisition Jan 2021, Private Utility Adj. April 2021, Construction begins April 2021 and completed by March 2022, Lights June 2022, and Landscaping Sept. 2022.
