Village Hall & Pool -  Update Weds. 11/19/08. You have probably seen that the cinder block walls have been set for the building foundation of the pool house and the main building. In addition, the piers that will support the floor trusses in the main building were set last week. The lumber delivery has been made and the trusses and framing lumber are on site. The  termiteicide has been applied to the fill, and the foundation work is complete on the main building. The pool has been excavated and the forms have been set and the pouring of the pool has begun.The pool house floor slab is also scheduled to be poured. Temporary power has been furnished to the site. The electrical contractor is already at work on running power to both the pool and the main building. The plumbing has been roughed in for the pool house already. The site contractor is finishing the storm drain installation this week and next on his list is the sewer connection. The framing contractor and his crew have aldeady made substantial progress on the beginning of the framing. Be sure to look at the site everyday as you pass by this week. The framing step is really the part of the job where you can see the building begin to take shape. The framers tell me they will be through in one week! We'll see! As always, I'll keep you updated.
