About Us

The Villages at West Neck is the first age 55 or better community that was built in Virginia Beach. There are eight villages that are built around an Arnold Palmer championship golf course, The Signature at West Neck. Six of the villages contain single family homes and two of the villages are composed of condos. All of the villages are completely built out ,with the exception of Rosecrest, which still has lots and homes for sale. At final build out there will be 528 single family homes and 408 condo units with a total resident population of about 1600 people in our community. We are located just off of West Neck Rd in the Princess Anne section of Virginia Beach near the city Municipal Center. Several things make the Villages at West Neck distinctive. The developer, Dick Foster of Baymark, had a vision for a senior community that evolved around beautiful grounds and golf course views that take advantage of showcasing the fourteen lakes on the course. As you can see above, he spared no expense in how the community is presented at the main entrance. The Signature Clubhouse, which is adjacant to the golf course, reflects this same grand building style. If you combine that with our 10,000+ knockout roses that bloom seven months per year and the 1600 annuals that we change twice per year, the result is a showcase community. This pride of appearance carries over to the property owners in how well they maintain their homes and the grounds. The new Village Hall and Pool opened in May 2009 and is a major asset to the community; also shown above.  For more information on the activities of the Village Hall click on the Village Hall page. Come see why we think this is the best retirement community in the Mid-Atlantic area.
